Sickle Cell Syndrome Prevalent Far Outside West Africa

This research suggests that sickle polymorphism might have many populations in which it occurs differentiated genetically and mutatively. This might be evidence that Homo Sapiens Aeratus occurs in persons of African or southern Asian descent. That is, Hereditary Spherocytosis cell morphology, resulting in a change in oxygen flow and red blood cell production occurs in 1 in 5000 Northern Europeans.
